“Regeneration Field Institute is an incredible organization and this program is truly worthwhile and life changing. Through bamboo construction and agroforestry, engaging discussions, and even daily interactions, the trip gave me hope that a regenerative future is possible. You join a tight knit community of passionate environmental leaders, gain unforgettable fun memories, and experience the beautiful unique sights and foods of Ecuador. Don’t hesitate! Just go! It was the best choice I ever made!” - Victor, Urban Studies, UC Berkeley Class of 2023
“The staff were amazing, always helpful and friendly, and supporting us through our various struggles. The educational value of the program is insane; I learned so much about regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, and bamboo construction. I also learned about environmental issues Ecuador and the world is facing. That's all not to mention how much of a great cultural immersion this experience was. This program has taught me a lot about so many things, even myself, and I'm going to take knowledge I got here everywhere I go.” - Ennis, Wildlife, Fish, Conservation Biology, UC Davis Class of 2024
“This experience was genuinely life changing. I had the opportunity to engage with farming and construction for the first time, while immersing in a new culture. I carry the lessons I learned with me every day, and the program sparked new passions. The staff are so supportive and passionate about sharing their interests, and everyone you interact with is so friendly. The program allowed me to experience both classroom and real-world learning and was so educational. It was allowed for plenty of leisure time exploring beautiful coastal Ecuador! I wholeheartedly recommend this program.” - Bellamy, Conservation & Resource Studies, UC Berkeley Class of 2025
