Bamboo Cultivation and Education Center on Los Arboleros Farm
After working diligently to train and employ carpenters to rebuild over 20 homes and close to 50 informal structures after the earthquakes in 2016, Bahia Beach Construction has shifted efforts to building a Bamboo Cultivation and Education Center in the central region of Chone to further institutionalize access to this knowledge and technology.

Our vision is to cultivate native caña guadua bamboo in agroforestry systems, to help expand infrastructure for value-added processing of bamboo to make cured bamboo available in all of the coastal region, and regularly host training workshops to local Ecuadorians and international collaborators on our 70 acre Los Arboleros Farm.
